Joel J. Watson
Joel J. Watson, founder of Watson & Barron, has more than 40 years of experience in environmental engineering and consulting. Currently, Joel works in the areas of industrial air pollution control, regulatory analysis, and industrial compliance assessment. Joel holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina State University, and an M.S. in Environmental Engineering from Vanderbilt University. He is a registered professional engineer in North Carolina, Florida and Connecticut and holds certification as a Qualified Environmental Professional by the Institute of Professional Environmental Practice.
Barbara L Barron
Barbara L Barron, founder of Watson & Barron, has more than 35 years of experience in environmental and industrial hygiene consulting. Her current work focuses on industrial air pollution compliance assessment, regulatory analysis, compliance program implementation, and facilitating environmental, health and safety training for operations and service managers. Barbara holds a B.S. in Nutrition and an M.S. in Microbiology from Iowa State University. She has held Qualified Environmental Professional certification since 1995.
F. Noel Day
F. Noel Day, founding partner of Watson & Barron, has worked for over 20 years in environmental consulting. His work focuses on air-related issues such as permitting, compliance management, regulatory support, development of emission inventories, mitigating greenhouse gas emissions, and implementation of information technology solutions for companies in the oil and gas, utility and manufacturing sectors. He has a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from North Carolina State University and is a registered professional engineer in North Carolina, Louisiana, Mississippi and Texas.
Guy E. Fortier
Guy E. Fortier, founding partner of Watson & Barron, has over 25 years in the environmental consulting field. During his career, he has shaped air compliance programs at the corporate and site levels for North American manufacturing and industrial clients. These clients range from power systems in the East to composites technology in the West and extends from forest products in Canada to electronic components in Mexico. He earned a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from North Carolina State University and is a member of AICHE.
Sarah E. Davis
Sarah E. Davis has been an environmental scientist at Watson & Barron since 2008. Currently, her work includes air emissions inventories, researching and interpreting state and federal air quality regulations, developing air compliance tools, and assisting in emissions reporting and permitting processes. Sarah holds a B.S. in Environmental Technology and an M.S. in Crop Science from North Carolina State University.
